The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be performing at FORECASTLE FESTIVAL in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, July 14th.
The Preservation Hall Jazz Band began in New Orleans in 1961 and has traveled worldwide spreading their mission to nurture and perpetuate the art form of New Orleans Jazz. The music embodies a joyful, timeless spirit that is unique to the culture and flair of New Orleans.
This rich Louisiana tradition will create a once-in-a-lifetime experience onboard the historic Belle of Louisville as members of My Morning Jacket will join them on stage after their Saturday night headlining performance. Rest assured the boat will be a rockin’ so don’t miss your chance to join in!
