There are countries that really care about art and want that musicians from all places go there to bring somthing new to the local audience. I have a little metal band with my friends we wanted to make a tour around south america. We went to several embassies and the country that really seemed interested about having there was Argentina. They even agreed to pay for the rent of apartments in buenos aires  for all the members of the band. Not only did we feel really grateful but the Argentineans who listened to us liked to see something different and have some diversification on the kind of music they normally listen to!
