On Sunday, April 26, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band is proud to announce a very special performance with fellow American Legacies and 2006 Grammy winners, The Del McCoury Band. One of the biggest names in American bluegrass music, 2009 marks Del’s fiftieth anniversary playing and recording in this quintessentially American musical format. These shows will represent a rare and very special opportunity to witness the coming together of two legendary groups of musicians from two distinctly American musical lineages.
